SHINICHI MARUYAMA’S NUDE DANCERS IN MOTION via Juxtapoz
Japanese artist Shinichi Maruyama captured the ‘beauty of both the human body’s figure and its motion’ by combining 10,000 individual photographs of each dancer. “By putting together uninterrupted individual moments, the resulting image as a whole will appear to be something different from what actually exits. With regard to these two viewpoints, a connection can be made to a human being’s perception of presence in life.”
I would totally buy a sculpture of one of these.
I’ve never understood why people would buy sculptures until right now.
These photos are nice, but I want a 3D physical half-life sized clay sculpture.
